Mission: To report data and information that lead to community improvement.
Objective 1: To increase knowledge of the Spartanburg Community Indicators Project.
Objective 2: To use data to engage the Spartanburg community on issues of concern.
Objective 3: To celebrate and draw attention to community groups, and initiatives that promote change.
How Does Spartanburg Measure Up?
On February 5, 2009, Spartanburg Community Indicators Project hosted an event to evaluate where we are as a community and look to the future of what we can become. Mayor Barnet, Council Chairman Horton, Ms. Mary L. Thomas, and Dr. John Stockwell all spoke at the event. Non-profits who summited a paper proposal were included in a reception afterwards.
