·        Jobs Initiative- Casey Foundation's eight-year effort in six cities to connect inner-city young men and women to family-supporting jobs in the regional economy and to improve the way urban labor market systems work for low-income, low-skilled workers.

·         Strengthening Families Program- a 14-session, science-based parenting skills, children's life skills, and family life skills training program specifically designed for high-risk families.

 

·         Multidimensional Treatment Foster Care- a cost-effective alternative to regular foster care, group or residential treatment, and incarceration for youth who have problems with chronic disruptive behavior

 

·         Families and Schools Together- produce and distribute evidence-based, parent involvement programs and prevention/intervention programs that teach parents how to become empowered and show them how to empower their children to succeed

 

Natural Environment

·         Earthjustice- is a non-profit public interest law firm dedicated to protecting the magnificent places, natural resources, and wildlife of this earth, and to defending the right of all people to a healthy environment

 

·         Wildlands Network- is urgently restoring, protecting and connecting our best wild places throughout North America because people need nature, and nature needs space to survive.

 

·         Environmental Paper Network- goals are to protect the world’s last endangered forests, safeguard the global climate, and ensure abundant, clean drinking water and respect for community and indigenous rights

 

 

Community Engagement

·         Youth as Resource- provides mini-grants to young people to design and implement civic engagement activities and service projects which target social problems, resolve community issues, and contribute to significant community improvement

 

·         RSVP- offers unique benefits for volunteers registered for RSVP

 

·         Mosman Council- The aim is to achieve a broader range of views to assist Council in planning services better to meet community needs and aspirations and to provide residents greater opportunities to contribute to and influence outcomes which directly affect their lives.
